Admission requirements

UBC publishes two different academic bars. The minimum overall GPA for submitting an application is 70%. How selection works

Before interviews, UBC creates the interview cut-off from an applicant's overall or adjusted academic average and Non-Academic Qualities score. After interviews, UBC reviews the whole file together. The Admissions Selection Committee makes decisions by consensus. UBC gives preference to BC residents and says up to 10% of seats, to a maximum of 33, may be available to out-of-province applicants.
