How selection works
ETSU reviews verified PharmCAS files on a rolling basis and invites selected top applicants to Interview Day. The interview process determines admission to the College. Applicants are typically told within one to two weeks after the verified application is received whether the file is moving forward, though this is not the final post-interview decision timeline. How to apply Interview day
The College does not publish a GPA threshold on the reviewed requirements page, file-review weights, interview scoring dimensions, rating anchors, academic-versus-interview weights, committee vote rules, decision timing after interview or wait-list method.
Interview details
Confirmed
An interview is required for selected applicants and Interview Day determines admission. The current interview-day page offers an on-campus option, which ETSU strongly encourages, and an online option. The requirements page separately says an in-person interview is required; because these official pages conflict, applicants should follow the modality stated in their invitation or confirm it with Pharmacy Admissions. Interview day Requirements
Not published
ETSU does not publish interview dates, duration, interviewer count or roles, individual versus panel structure, group exercises, file access, question count, scenarios, preparation time, rating dimensions, anchors, numerical weight or cutoff. The invitation controls the live schedule and modality.
Who this program may suit
ETSU may suit applicants seeking a four-year PharmD in Johnson City with multiple entry pathways and a professional-school setting on the VA Mountain Home campus. The traditional pathway allows students to complete any bachelor's major before the four professional years, while a bachelor's degree is not stated as universally required in the prerequisite rules. Traditional pathway Requirements
Rolling admissions favour an early verified PharmCAS file. Applicants who need an online interview should not assume it from the requirements page alone; they should confirm the invitation because ETSU's two current pages disagree.
Practice and next step
Use the linked pharmacy error scenario to practise a structured admission interview answer: identify the patient-safety risk, gather facts, communicate with the patient and team, and prevent recurrence. Review whether the response is clear, ethical and proportionate. Record a second attempt with a sharper opening, compare both versions and repeat with a rural medication-access scenario.
