Admission requirements

Applicants must earn a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent international degree, before enrolling. Biology, chemistry and physics prerequisites must be completed at an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution. Required preparation is two terms of general biology with labs, two of general chemistry with labs, one of organic chemistry with lab, one of biochemistry, two of general physics, two of college English or writing-intensive work, and two of college mathematics or statistics at college algebra or above. Upper-level courses and AP credit may satisfy basic requirements when applicable. Online prerequisites are considered case by case. The MCAT is required and, for Fall 2027, must be from January 2024 or later; the last accepted test date is September 12, 2026.
