Admission requirements

Applicants need at least 90 credit hours from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution when applying and a bachelor's degree before matriculation, unless admitted through an IU program that waives the degree requirement. MD admissions

Prerequisites are one year each of general and organic chemistry, physics and biology, with a minimum two-hour laboratory; one semester of biochemistry; one social-science course; and one behavioural-science course. Courses may be in progress at application, but all must be complete before enrollment. The committee decides which courses satisfy the requirements, and some AP credit may be accepted. MD admissions
