Louisville DMD Admissions Guide 2027

For Fall 2027 entry, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry's current DMD pages confirm the traditional route, prerequisite coursework, DAT, Casper, letters, and dental shadowing. The pages describe other pathways separately, so this guide is scoped to traditional DMD admission. Fall 2027 dates and interview logistics are not published on the current source.

Admission requirements

The current criteria page says traditional applicants need at least 60 undergraduate semester hours before applying and 90 by matriculation, required science coursework, a DAT score less than two years old at cycle opening, three letters or a committee evaluation, and at least 40 hours of general-dentistry observation. It also describes Casper as required. Louisville DMD admissions criteria

Important dates

The traditional-pathway page describes an annual AADSAS process and a December 31 timeline, but it does not label that timetable as Fall 2027. Treat it as a source to recheck, not a confirmed 2027 deadline. Louisville traditional DMD pathway

How selection works

The School of Dentistry says its admissions committee uses an Admissions Index with academic and non-academic components listed as 51% and 49%. Historical class statistics on the page are not a promise about Fall 2027. Louisville DMD admissions criteria

Interview details

Confirmed

The current criteria page confirms Casper as part of the application. Louisville DMD criteria

Not published

The current official pages do not publish a traditional DMD interview station count, duration, platform, scoring rubric, or Fall 2027 interview schedule.

Who this program may suit

The traditional route combines academic prerequisites with non-academic evaluation, Casper, recommendations, observation, and technical standards. Applicants who can connect dental exposure to ethical, patient-centred communication may find that preparation relevant. Louisville DMD admissions criteria

Practice and next step

This is original Videoath practice for Casper. Record one timed response, review one specific weakness, adjust one choice, then record a second response and compare the two attempts.

Western University Dentistry Admissions Guide (2027)

Western's four-year DDS program currently requires at least three years of undergraduate coursework, a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, specified prerequisites, an eligible DAT, Casper, the Western autobiographical sketch and an interview for selected applicants. Western publishes a virtual, structured panel format, but its dates page still names February 2026 interviews and has not yet posted the exact Fall 2027 interview dates. This guide preserves the confirmed requirements and makes the cycle-specific gap explicit.
