How selection works
Marshall reviews applications on a rolling basis. Its published factors include academic record, Casper, recommendations, GRE or MCAT, personal statement, and interview. West Virginia residents receive additional rubric points. Qualifying Marshall graduates who meet the September 1 verification rule receive an interview; other applicants are selected through the review rubric. Marshall admissions

Who this program may suit
Marshall may suit applicants interested in rural and culturally diverse care, a January-start curriculum, and rolling review. The application has more testing steps than many programs because it requires the GRE or MCAT plus Casper. ARC-PA currently lists Accreditation-Continued and a July 2035 next review, while its current history also lists additional evidence due August 31, 2026; applicants should review any later ARC-PA update. Practice and next step
Record a 90-second answer explaining why the PA profession fits your goals and how one experience with rural, underserved, or culturally diverse care shaped that decision. Review whether your example is specific, avoids speaking for a community, and shows what you contributed. Record the answer again with one clearer action and reflection, then compare the attempts.
