McGill DMD Admissions: Fall 2027 Cycle

McGill's current Fall 2027 D.M.D. materials require the appropriate bachelor’s degree and science prerequisites, Casper, supporting documents, and intermediate B2 French unless an exemption applies. The cycle-specific requirements table says the DAT is not required for the 2026–2027 application cycle, and the supporting-documents page lists October 2026 Casper dates and a Fall 2027 workbook. Interview pages still display February 2026 details, so this guide treats that schedule as historical. Start with one structured response, review one weakness, and record a better second attempt.

Admission requirements

Quebec-resident applicants generally need a 120-credit bachelor's degree or a 90-credit bachelor's degree with a DEC; other Canadian and international applicants generally need a 120-credit bachelor's degree. McGill publishes full-time study expectations and category-specific documentation. McGill degree requirements

Applicants need seven basic science prerequisites: two introductory biology courses, two general chemistry courses, one organic chemistry course, and two introductory physics courses, with laboratories as specified. At least four must be completed by the November 1 application deadline, and remaining eligible courses must meet the later completion rules. McGill science prerequisites

Casper is mandatory. The supporting-documents page lists October 15, 2026 as the last English test date and October 22, 2026 as the last French test date. Intermediate B2 French proof is required for the DMD 2026–2027 application cycle unless an official exemption applies; English proficiency may also be required. The current cycle-specific requirements table says the DAT is not required for the 2026–2027 application cycle. A lower, older paragraph on the same page still says future-cycle use is under review; for this cycle, use the explicit 2026–2027 table and recheck if applying later. McGill DAT requirement

Important dates

McGill's requirements page lists a November 1 application deadline. The supporting-documents page lists the last accepted Casper dates as October 15, 2026 in English and October 22, 2026 in French. McGill requirements McGill supporting documents

The supporting-documents page provides a Fall 2027 DMD Workbook, but still displays a November 3, 2025 document deadline. Do not roll that prior-cycle document deadline forward; confirm the current supporting-document deadline before submission. McGill supporting documents

The degree used for admission must be conferred by July 31 of the entry year. Up to three prerequisite courses may be in progress after the application deadline, with grades due by May 31 before entry. McGill DMD requirements

McGill has not published a current Fall 2027 invitation date or interview date. Do not roll the February 10, 2026 interview forward. McGill selection process

How selection works

The latest official selection page ranks interview invitations using 70% academic performance, 20% Casper, and 10% CV. Academic performance is described as 60% undergraduate cGPA and 10% academic context. McGill DMD selection

After the MMI, McGill says final ranking is based mainly on MMI performance while also considering academic and non-academic results. The page does not publish a precise final numeric formula. Because its displayed interview date is February 2026, applicants should treat the model as the latest official structure and recheck for the Fall 2027 update. McGill final selection

Interview details

Confirmed

The latest official format is a virtual asynchronous multiple mini-interview. McGill says applicants record responses to multiple task, simulation, scenario, or discussion-oriented stations, complete the interview in one sitting, and finish in less than an hour. McGill DMD selection process

Not published

McGill has not confirmed the Fall 2027 interview date, platform, exact station count, station timing, preparation time, question mix, scoring rubric, or whether every prior-cycle technical instruction will continue. The page still names Kira Talent and February 10, 2026 for the prior cycle. McGill how to apply

Who this program may suit

McGill's four-year D.M.D. may suit applicants seeking an English-language dental degree in Montréal while preparing to work with patients in both English and French. The program's admissions rules emphasize full-time academic preparation, required sciences, Casper, a CV, and bilingual readiness. McGill DMD requirements

Applicants should compare the category-specific degree rules, French B2 requirement, science prerequisites, and partially updated cycle information with their own academic history. This is a program-comparison interpretation, not an admission prediction.

Practice and next step

First practice: record one answer to Clinic appointment access and fairness. For an asynchronous MMI-style response, state your approach early, identify missing information, weigh the affected people and practical constraints, then finish with a clear decision and communication plan.

Review the recording for one observable weakness—such as listing considerations without choosing, overlooking one stakeholder, or ending without a next step. Make one adjustment, record the same response again, and compare the attempts. Continue with CASPer Essentials: Frameworks to Game Plan because Casper remains a confirmed D.M.D. requirement.
