Admission requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S.-accredited institution before matriculation. Both total and science GPAs must be at least 3.2, and the MCAT must be at least 500. How selection works
Methodist first checks the published GPA, MCAT, degree and citizenship requirements. Invited secondary applications become complete after the school receives required letters, MCAT, secondary and fee or waiver. The committee then uses holistic review, including academic performance, extracurricular and other experiences, military affiliation and geographic ties to the area.
