Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

Admission requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree before the January start date, a minimum 3.0 CASPA-calculated cumulative undergraduate GPA, a minimum 3.0 prerequisite GPA, grades of C or higher in required courses, and at least 500 hours of hands-on health care experience completed before CASPA submission. Required areas include anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology with lab, developmental psychology, statistics or biostatistics, and medical terminology; science prerequisites normally must be within seven years. The program also requires CASPer, transcripts, a personal statement, recommendations, patient-care documentation, technical-standards compliance, and TOEFL where applicable. Program requirements
The current admissions-process page states that applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA-eligible, while the main program page also discusses F-1 visa steps for admitted students. Because those first-party statements are not fully aligned, applicants whose status falls outside the first list should obtain written eligibility confirmation from the program before relying on either passage. How selection works
UM-Flint first checks minimum requirements, then applies holistic review to academic performance, critical thinking, professionalism, communication, integrity, resilience, teamwork, advocacy, service, leadership, clinical experience, and dedication to PA practice. Competitive applicants advance to interview day; interviewed applicants may receive an offer, denial, or alternate-list position. Applicants from specified UM-Flint pre-PA, respiratory therapy, and human biology tracks receive an automatic interview when they meet the published minimum requirements. The school does not publish numerical weights for these factors. Admissions process
Interview details
Confirmed
Interviews are invitation-only and in person on the Flint campus, typically in early September. The current page describes two timed one-on-one interviews with faculty, program leaders, and practising PAs. Interview day may also include a writing sample, group participation or other activities, a campus tour, and meetings with university representatives. The school says it evaluates communication, understanding of the PA profession, problem-solving, critical thinking, and alignment with the program mission. Admissions process
Not published
The current official pages do not publish the length of either interview, the exact 2026 interview date, question set, preparation time, scoring rubric, weighting, or a fixed mix of additional activities. Invitation instructions control those details.
Who this program may suit
This program may suit applicants seeking an on-campus, full-time PA curriculum with early clinical immersion, a 12-month clinical phase, and an explicit mission around public health, service, evidence-based decisions, culturally competent care, and team-based practice. The 28-month sequence and January start are material calendar commitments; students cannot enter by transfer or receive advanced placement. This is an interpretation of the published curriculum and mission, not an admissions prediction. Program page
Practice and next step
Original Videoath practice. Start with Clinic appointment access and fairness and record one concise response. Identify the people affected, clarify the missing information, explain a fair next step, and communicate it with empathy and accountability. Then review one observable weakness in your recording, use the recommended CASPer preparation Path to make one adjustment, record the same response again, and compare whether your reasoning became clearer. This practice targets the communication, critical-thinking, ethical-behaviour, and interpersonal attributes UM-Flint says it evaluates. Admissions process
