Admission requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or have DACA status; complete at least 90 college hours, with at least 60 from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution; and take the MCAT. Michigan requests 3–4 letters through AMCAS. It does not prescribe specific undergraduate courses, but requires foundational competency in humanities and social sciences, life and physical sciences, statistics, analytical thinking, communication, ethics, teamwork, cultural humility, and related physician competencies. How selection works
