Clinic appointment access and fairness
Practise making a fair decision when access is limited. Review whether you identify missing information, weigh both patients' needs, and explain the next step clearly; then record the scenario again with one improvement.

Admission requirements
PCOM requires a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with limited consideration for exceptional three-year undergraduate work. Required coursework includes biology (8 semester hours including 2 laboratory hours), physics (8 including 2 laboratory hours), chemistry (16 including 4 laboratory hours, including organic chemistry and at least 3 hours of biochemistry), and English composition/literature (6 hours). AP or IB coursework must appear on the college transcript; CLEP is not accepted.
For 2027 admission, PCOM accepts MCAT exams from January 2024 onward and publishes no minimum MCAT or GPA requirement. It requires U.S. citizenship or permanent-resident status, at least three recommendation letters, official MCAT reporting, and the required location-specific fee. The page describes a holistic review that also considers clinical exposure, research, leadership, service, motivation, and letters (PCOM requirements).

How selection works
PCOM reviews completed location-specific applications through its Faculty Committee on Admissions. The school describes a holistic process that considers academic preparation, MCAT, letters, autobiographical statements, clinical and research experience, leadership, community involvement, and motivation. Selected applicants receive an interview invitation; interviewed candidates are usually notified within four to six weeks. PCOM evaluates each selected campus application through that location’s committee (PCOM application process).
Interview details
Confirmed

Not published
The current source does not publish station count, duration, interviewer assignment, scoring rubric, question list, or a fixed 2027 interview calendar. Philadelphia, Georgia, and South Georgia may provide location-specific instructions after invitation.
Who this program may suit
PCOM’s published process may suit applicants who want an osteopathic medical program with several campus options and who can show academic preparation alongside clinical exposure, service, research, leadership, and a clear motivation for medicine (PCOM DO program). This is preparation guidance, not an admission prediction.
Practice and next step
First practice: Record a timed response to the linked ethical-reasoning prompt, focusing on how you explain a fair decision, acknowledge affected people, and choose a practical next step. Review one weakness in the recording, adjust the response, record it again, and compare the two attempts. This is portable practice for a PCOM interview.
