Who this program may suit

SLU's regular MD curriculum combines an 18-month preclerkship phase with earlier clinical rotations, longitudinal health-care ethics, leadership and the business of medicine, active learning, service learning and patient-centred clinical experience. Medicine MD

Applicants can assess fit by identifying concrete service, ethics or teamwork experiences that align with the school's Jesuit mission and social-justice emphasis. Medical Scholars, early-assurance and dual-degree admissions have different contracts and are not part of this regular MD page.

Practice and next step

Record a two-minute response about a time you faced a tension between serving one person's immediate need and treating a wider group fairly. State the choice, action and effect. Review whether you explain your values through evidence rather than slogans, adjust the weakest example, then record a second response and compare clarity, humility and judgment.
