Current-cycle decision support
Turn confirmed information into a first practice
Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

Important dates
The current official page lists recurring dates without a year: TMDSAS opens May 1; supplemental opens May 15; interviews begin July/August; TMDSAS deadline October 1 at 5 p.m. CST; pre-match offers begin October 15; supplemental deadline December 1 at 5 p.m. CST; the pre-match period ends January 31; match results arrive in February; and the multiple-offer deadline is April 30. Treat these as general process dates, not verified Fall 2027 dates, until SHSU publishes a year-labelled cycle. SHSU-COM How to Apply
How selection works
SHSU-COM describes mission-driven holistic review across academics, experiences, attributes, and contributions. Applicants must submit the supplemental application and Acuity assessment to be considered for interview. The FAQ says invitations follow holistic review; SHSU follows the TMDSAS match and uses rolling admissions after the match. No school-published scoring formula or GPA/MCAT cutoff is claimed here. Interview details
Confirmed
Interview is required. SHSU-COM’s FAQ says Interview Day includes two face-to-face interviews and a written assessment; interviews may be in person or virtual. The FAQ says interviews are generally July–December, sometimes into January. SHSU-COM Admissions FAQ
Not published
The official pages do not publish station duration, interviewer roles beyond the two interviews, written-assessment format, scoring rubric, question bank, or a Fall 2027 modality/schedule. Do not call this an MMI or promise a virtual format.
Who this program may suit
This process may suit applicants who can explain why osteopathic medicine fits their goals, show sustained service and healthcare engagement, meet the prerequisite and Texas eligibility rules, and communicate clearly in two conversations plus a written assessment. Those who need a fixed Fall 2027 deadline table should wait for a year-labelled SHSU cycle page. This is preparation guidance, not a prediction of admission. Official program/admissions source
Practice and next step
Start the original Videoath practice using the linked fairness prompt. This is original Videoath practice, not a SHSU-released question. Record a spoken response, review whether your reasoning is clear and acknowledges affected people, adjust one concrete improvement, record again, and compare the two attempts. Then use the result to rehearse concise answers for SHSU’s two-interview format; do not treat the practice as a simulation of the unpublished written assessment.
