Admission requirements

Applicants need at least 90 semester hours from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution. Required coursework is Biology I and II with labs, General Chemistry I and II with labs, Organic Chemistry I with lab, one semester of biochemistry, Physics I and II with labs, statistics, an English elective and composition or writing. Courses generally must be in person and letter graded; online and Pass/Fail exceptions are limited to 2020–21. Transcripted AP credit is accepted, with advanced science work recommended. Applicants currently in college provide a committee or prehealth-advisor letter, or two faculty letters from different departments with one from science. Current graduate students add a graduate adviser or department-chair letter.
