Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

How selection works
UTHSC reviews AMCAS files, prerequisites, MCAT, experiences, letters, secondary materials, and interview performance (application process). Tennessee residents receive priority, while out-of-state enrollment is capped at approximately 10% under the published guidance. Invited applicants complete the virtual interview, after which decisions may be acceptance, denial, or alternate-list placement. The current source does not publish a detailed weighting formula.
Interview details
Confirmed
- Interviews are invitation-only and virtual throughout the 2027 cycle (application process).
- Invitations are expected from October through the end of February, with initial invitations not before September 15; the school says applicants are notified roughly two to three weeks ahead.
Not published
The current official sources do not publish modality platform, duration, station count, scoring rubric, interviewer assignment, or a current question list. Do not infer an MMI or panel format.
Who this program may suit
UTHSC’s statewide mission and Tennessee residency priority may suit applicants who can explain a commitment to serving Tennessee communities and meet the school’s substantial science prerequisites (admissions). The approximately 10% out-of-state cap is a material fit constraint; do not present this as a nationally neutral admissions route.
Practice and next step
Original Videoath practice: Use the linked general Interview/MMI prompt about fair access to a clinic appointment to practise concise ethical reasoning and spoken communication for a virtual interview. It is general Videoath practice, not a UTHSC question. Record a timed response, review feedback tied to the recording, choose one weakness, adjust the answer, record it again, and compare both attempts before choosing the next practice target.
