Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

How selection works
UT Tyler uses TMDSAS screening, supplemental review, prerequisite and MCAT checks, CASPer/SJT, and invitation-only interview review (application process). The current pages describe pre-match offers, the TMDSAS Match, and waitlist activity through the 2027 cycle. They do not publish a detailed weighting formula or an admissions prediction rule.
Interview details
Confirmed
- Interviews are invitation-only and in person (MD admissions).
- The current schedule lists interview dates from August 11, 2026 through January 5, 2027.
Not published
The official pages do not publish interview duration, station count, scoring rubric, interviewer assignment, or a current question list. Do not infer an MMI or virtual format.
Who this program may suit
UT Tyler’s published requirements may suit applicants who can complete a defined science prerequisite set, prepare for CASPer/SJT, and explain service and motivation in the context of a developing East Texas medical school (admissions). Mission and regional language are preparation context, not an admissions preference.
Practice and next step
Original Videoath practice: Use the linked general Interview/MMI prompt about choosing fairly between patients seeking a scarce clinic appointment to practise concise reasoning, empathy, and communication. It is general Videoath practice, not a UT Tyler question. Record a timed response, review feedback tied to the answer, choose one weakness, adjust the answer, record it again, and compare both attempts before choosing the next target.
