Admission requirements
Applicants need an eligible bachelor’s degree, minimum 2.8 cumulative and science GPAs with the published recent-coursework exceptions, all prerequisites, at least 2,000 patient-care or health-related hours before CASPA submission, and three professional recommendations. How selection works
UVU does not use rolling admissions. Qualified applications receive holistic review of academics, verified care experience, leadership, service, and recommendations. The first-pass review awards additional points for long Utah ties, veteran status, and first-generation status; the 2026–27 cycle also reserves at least five seats for nonresidents.
