Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

Admission requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree before matriculation and must complete the published prerequisite preparation. Weill Cornell lists two semesters of biology with at least one lab or equivalent laboratory experience; two semesters of general chemistry with at least one lab; two semesters of physics with at least one lab; and two semesters of organic chemistry with at least one lab, with an advanced biology or chemistry course such as biochemistry potentially substituting for the second organic chemistry course. The school also requires two writing-intensive humanities or social-science courses with at least 10 cumulative pages of writing each (selection criteria and requirements).
The MCAT is required; the current guidance accepts January 2023 through September 12, 2026 scores for 2027 matriculation and does not state a minimum cutoff. Courses generally require C or Pass, online courses are accepted, and AP/IB biology or chemistry cannot satisfy the listed requirements. Submit AMCAS, the secondary, transcripts, and the school’s required letters; verify the current portal for final document combinations.
Important dates
For 2027 matriculation, the current first-party guidance lists:
- October 15, 2026: AMCAS application deadline.
- September 12, 2026: latest MCAT date identified for the 2027 cycle.
- 2026–2027 interview season: virtual interviews, with invitations and scheduling through the admissions office. The current pages publish the cycle and primary deadline but do not establish every secondary or letter date in one place. Recheck the live portal before relying on any remaining date (how to apply).
How selection works
Weill Cornell reviews academic preparation, experiences, personal qualities, motivation, communication, and fit with the school’s mission. Complete AMCAS files are invited to submit the secondary, after which the committee evaluates the full application and may invite the applicant to interview. The current public pages do not publish a fixed scoring formula or acceptance prediction rule (selection criteria).
Interview details
Confirmed
Weill Cornell confirms virtual interviews for the 2026–2027 season. Invited applicants complete two 30-minute interviews with members of the Committee on Admissions, along with an informational meeting and student Q&A (how to apply).
Not published
The cited pages do not publish a station count, scoring rubric, interviewer assignment beyond the two committee interviews, or a current question list. Do not label the format MMI.
Who this program may suit
Weill Cornell’s published requirements may suit applicants who can combine strong science preparation with writing, reflection, communication, and experiences that explain their motivation for medicine (selection criteria and requirements). These are preparation considerations, not a prediction of admission.
Practice and next step
Original Videoath practice: Use the linked general fairness-and-access prompt to rehearse a clear answer for a two-interviewer conversation. Record a timed response, review how you explain the trade-off and acknowledge affected people, choose one weakness, adjust the answer, record it again, and compare both attempts before choosing the next practice target.
