Clinic appointment access and fairness
Original Videoath MMI-style spoken practice for the McMaster admissions-page canary. This is not a recalled or confidential McMaster question. Review the response for a clear opening position, affected people and interests, missing information, fair trade-offs, respectful communication, and a concise conclusion. Use a two-attempt loop: review one observable weakness, then record the same prompt again with that adjustment.

Admission requirements
XUCOM requires a completed and verified AACOMAS application before a qualified applicant may receive the secondary. The secondary process lists U.S. citizenship or permanent residence, at least two signed/letterhead recommendations, an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above, and consideration of graduate study, GPA trend, and clinical experience with osteopathic physicians (XUCOM application process). The requirements page says applicants need 90 credit hours or three quarters of a bachelor’s degree before applying, an MCAT within three years of matriculation, and a physician plus pre-health or science-faculty recommendation (XUCOM requirements). Xavier is not currently accepting international DO applicants.
Important dates
XUCOM’s Class of 2031 timeline lists AACOMAS opening in May 2026, secondary applications in July 2026, interviews from September 2026 through April 2027, final decisions in May 2027, and orientation in July 2027 (decision and deposit timeline). The application-process page gives April 15 in the year of matriculation as the primary deadline and May 1 as the final secondary deadline. Confirm these dates in the live applicant portal if the cycle page changes.
How selection works
XUCOM uses a completed AACOMAS file, an invited secondary, letters, academic review, and holistic assessment of GPA trend, graduate work, clinical experience, and osteopathic motivation before deciding whether to invite an applicant to interview (XUCOM application process). The public sources do not publish a detailed admissions scoring formula.
Interview details
Confirmed
XUCOM’s decision timeline says selected applicants are interviewed September 2026 through April 2027 and decisions are made on a rolling basis; the application process describes interview invitation after the completed secondary file is evaluated (XUCOM decision timeline).
Not published
The current sources do not publish interview duration, station count, scoring rubric, platform, or a current question list. Do not label the process MMI without a source.
Who this program may suit
XUCOM is a new Cincinnati-based osteopathic program whose public materials emphasize holistic review, osteopathic clinical exposure, and a commitment to building a new medical school (Xavier College of Osteopathic Medicine). Applicants who can explain their motivation for osteopathic medicine and their clinical experiences may find those themes relevant. This is preparation guidance, not a prediction of admission.
Practice and next step
Original Videoath practice: Use the linked general fairness prompt to practise a concise response for an early-stage DO interview. Record a timed answer, review feedback tied to the recording, choose one weakness in structure or empathy, adjust it, record again, and compare both attempts before choosing the next practice target.
